Teletherapy, also known as online therapy or telemedicine, refers to the use of a secure online platform for therapy sessions. Instead of traveling to the therapist's office, clients meet with their therapist virtually. Although this practice has been in use for several years, it has only recently gained widespread popularity and acceptance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many clients have found teletherapy to be an effective substitute for in-person therapy sessions, citing its ease of use and convenience.
I am a proponent of teletherapy and am happy to offer this service in my practice to clients who would prefer meeting remotely from the comfort of their home or office, or whose circumstances require them to do so. If you would like to try a teletherapy session, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or to schedule a confidential appointment.
